Description:
In the industrial field, filter bags have a wide range of applications. The more common ones are used in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, automobile manufacturing, paint, coating, viscose, food and beverage, electronic technology, water treatment, metal processing and other industries. In the field of water treatment, our common filter bags are roughly divided into the following types:
①PET (polyester) fiber filter bag;
②Polypropylene (PP) fiber/PP microfiber filter bag;
③Nylon single fiber filter bag
④Special high temperature resistant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filter bag.
These four are more commonly used. Let's briefly introduce them below:
PE filter bag is made of polyester fiber filter cloth, which is a common filter bag. The fiber structure is loose, which increases the capacity of impurities; this product belongs to the compound interception mode, which effectively removes solids and soft particles.
PP filter bag is made of polypropylene fiber filter cloth. PP filter material is a deep filter material with excellent chemical resistance, high flow and low resistance, no pollution and long service life. Therefore, it is widely used in industry and the price is very economical.
Nylon filter bags are made of high-strength nylon woven mesh sewing. The advantage of nylon filter material is that it can be cleaned repeatedly and has low cost, but it is easy to clog as a surface filtration mode, so it is suitable for coarse filtration scenarios with low precision.
PET filter bags are high polymers of polyethylene terephthalate. It is a milky white or light yellow, highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny surface. PET filter material itself is also a deep filter bag with excellent chemical resistance and solvent resistance, especially for solvent-based fluids. It also has excellent corrosion resistance. Under normal circumstances, the maximum temperature that PET can withstand can reach 160 degrees Celsius.
PTFE filter bag is a polytetrafluoroethylene filter bag, also known as Teflon, which is the highest-end variety of bag filter materials. The filter bag material can be used continuously at 240°C without problems, and can withstand instantaneous temperatures up to 260°C, and withstand acid and alkali erosion within the entire pH range.
